Caitlin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who helps her clients navigate life’s challenges using mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy and relational-cultural therapy. A person-centered practitioner, her clinical style is open, collaborative, and accepting. Caitlin provides clients with a space in which they can openly reflect on and explore their lives. She meets clients where they are at and helps them marshal inner resources to resolve the issues blocking them from living fully and achieving their goals. Caitlin’s clinical work focuses on helping individuals dealing with mood and anxiety disorders, LGBTQIA+ -related stress, race-related stress, trauma, life transitions, and eating disorders.
Caitlin is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Counseling Psychology at Fordham University, where she is studying the experiences that shape the racial identity of multiracial Latinx adults. Caitlin obtained her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College, followed by a primary practicum certificate in Cognitive Behavior Therapy from the Albert Ellis Institute in NYC. Caitlin has more than five years of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and groups in a variety of settings including hospital outpatient, community mental health, and private practice.
